Cotteswold Dairy, a well-established family business, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Warehouse Team at Cheltenham Depot as pickers and packers. Based near Kingsditch in Cheltenham, we supply locally sourced milk, processed and packaged at our Tewkesbury plant, to customers nationwide.
As a Loader / Picker, you will play a vital role within our distribution chain linking the depot with our distribution team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of customer orders. This hands-on, physically active role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.
Summary
Days worked: Monday - Saturday
Hours: 37.5 hours, five shifts on a rota basis
Start Times: Between 0830 - 1000
This role requires flexibility, as end times may vary due to distribution needs.
Main Duties
- Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders
- Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment
- Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles
- Complying with food hygiene regulations
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential; candidates who are proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure are welcome to apply. - This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards.
- Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
- Reliable transportation to the Cheltenham site is necessary.
